Thank you for taking time to watch the presentation. I have been working on scaffolding these skills for a long time. I keep finding ways to make these difficult skills build slowly over time. It is so much easier for the students to break the big task of website analysis into smaller pieces and then work as a group to make sense of what they individually discovered.

When you give it a try, please share back what improvements you make on the process. It’s so much better when we learn together.

Great work on this presentation, thank you so much for sharing it. It really reminded me just how important it is to not only teach the essential skills for searching the Web, but also how we need to break those skills down into smaller pieces and scaffold them for the students, especially the younger students. I really liked the website analysis where you put the students into groups for content, usability, etc.

I will definitely be borrowing a few ideas from your presentation! Thanks for making it.
